20-year Veteran Retires from International Centre Board

Sr. Catherine Barange, general superior of the Lyon Congregation in France, was honored for her 20 years of service to the International Centre at the Board's March 28-30 semi-annual meeting. At this year's Chapter, she will step down from her position in the Congregation after 10 years as superior. Catherine has been an administrator for the congregation for decades as a provincial and in several other roles.

Amid an array of appetizers, Catherine pour sparkling wine for the group. Opening the bottle, however, was no easy task. After many attempts it finally opened--and spilled all over the floor. Fortunately, there was enough left to celebrate this special occasion.
